Zylom.co.uk is the UK’s most popular website
The free online games website Zylom.com has been chosen by the public as the UK’s “Most popular website of 2006” via the pan-European people's-choice awards initiative by online research agency Metrixlab and supported by Nielsen//Netratings.

 Zylom.co.uk has been named most popular website and the best games website at the UK Website of the Year awards held on January 17th in Rotterdam.
The gaming and puzzle website received the highest average rating for content, design and navigation in the most popular and best games website categories. More than 190,000 votes were cast as UK web users selected their favourite websites in 22 categories on www.websiteoftheyear.co.uk.
"We tried to find the most important websites on the market so we asked voters to look at three criteria - content, navigation and design," said Frans-Anton van Gils, Project Manager of MetrixLab/Website of the Year.
"We calculated the average result for each website and Zylom was the most popular in the games category .”
"Awards are often based on how many clicks each website gets but that does not always mean those websites are the best, so we chose a more considered rating system.
"Over 190,000 votes were cast and those who voted for Zylom.co.uk were particularly impressed by the website's content."

Our primary focus has always been on providing the number one internet experience and to win the most popular website categorically demonstrates we are heading in the right direction.
