REALGAMES LAUNCHES “CATE WEST – THE VANISHING FILES” ON REALARCADE.COM AND GAMEHOUSE.COM

AMSTERDAM — February 6, 2008 — From Casual Connect, the industry’s premier casual games conference—digital entertainment services company RealNetworks® Inc. (NASDAQ: RNWK), announced today an exclusive partnership with the world’s fastest growing casual games network, SPILL GROUP. RealGames™, the casual games business unit for RealNetworks, will see a dramatic increase in global reach as a result of the partnership. SPILL is based in The Netherlands, owns and operates 30 games portals throughout Europe, Asia and North- and South America. RealGames has gained exclusive syndication rights for Spill Group’s “Family” section of key portals, including Games.co.uk, Jeux.fr, Gioco.it, Jetzspielen.de, Spelletjes.nl, Spela.se, Juegos.com, Gry.pl, Gamesgames.com and Ojogos.com.br.

Prior to this partnership, RealGames’ global reach on its own direct-to-consumer sites- RealArcade, GameHouse, Zylom and Atrativa—as well as through its partnerships with sites like AOL and Lifetime—has been approximately 40 million unique visitors per month. With the addition of Spill Group’s worldwide presence, RealGames is expected to reach 48 million unique game players per month with its quality, best-selling casual game titles.

“With this new partnership we will expand our already significant reach of consumers who are fans of top-notch casual games. Our advertising and developer partners will see their ads and games in front of more people who have grown to love casual games as a brain-stimulating, stress-relieving form of entertainment,” said Harold Zeitz, senior vice president of RealGames. “SPILL has done an incredible job of creating popular games portals around the globe as well as providing quality games for casual games players.”

RealGames is focused on growing its reach not only to expand its circle of fans, but also to continue to attract the very best game developers to its publishing group and grow its base of advertisers. With increased reach, developers will continue to favor RealGames to publish their games--and the company’s portals will continue to have the best quality games offerings for its casual games customers.

"RealGames casual games will be totally integrated into our portals,” said Peter Driessen, CEO, SPILL GROUP. “RealGames has achieved a leading position in the casual games segment for women, and we believe that adding their games will bring a great value and more fun to our family portals.”

“This partnership will enable us to fulfill the needs of this specific target group,” Driessen continued. “We’ll be providing great value, not only in making our portals even more appealing to women, but by enhancing the overall experience of gaming."

The SPILL GROUP syndication partnership represents the first such deal for RealGames in 2008. In 2007 RealGames added numerous new syndication partners to its overall network in the US, Latin America and Europe by adding such partners as MSN in 17 countries in Latin America as of Dec. 2006, Vodafone and Web.de in Europe and Lifetime Networks in North America.
