Fontys University of Applied Sciences:
Fontys School of ICT aims at an active collaboration (Partnership in Education) with a limited number of companies/organisations (i.e. some 30 to 40) in the overall district of South-East Brabant.
The school’s objectives in this ambition are the guarantee of the education’s quality level and the acquisition of sufficient ICT students, so that in four years’ time an adequate number of graduates will be available for the ICT labour market.
As a matter of fact: in 5 years’ time an annual surplus of 50% more graduates will be available for the ICT labour market and – in 3 years’ time the ICT laboratories within the School of ICT will be in line with the ICT methods, technologies and techniques as applied in the industrial world, and thus be a realistic and factual reflection of this professional field.
